Restaurants which are just a few minutes walk away along with Bowness Pier where lake cruises are available.

Built around 1860 in the traditional local stone and slate style, Elim Lodge is in a pretty part of Bowness village, very close to local attractions and well placed for visiting the enchanting scenery of the Lake District National Park.
We offer clean, smart, value-for-money bed and breakfast accommodation, with an easy-going relaxed atmosphere.
We have our own limited private off-road parking.
From our doorstep it’s a two minute walk to shops and restaurants or a ten minute walk to the classic Lake District view at Biskey Howe viewpoint. We can also give you friendly, expert advice on how best to make the most of your visit to this beautiful corner of England.
We welcome families and small groups we are also gay friendly.
Breakfast at Elim Lodge, served in the Victorian dining room is both filling and tasty, featuring the best of local ingredients. We buy sausage and bacon from our local butcher So if it’s the traditional breakfast you’re after, then you won’t be disappointed.  We also offer other choices to awaken your senses, from croissants and yogurt, fruit juice and cereals, through lighter options, and Kipper Fillets, to a Vegetarian cooked breakfast. We can help with some special diets, with prior notification
Windermere railway and coach station is just over one mile away, with good connections to
Manchester, Scotland and London Euston via the West Coast main line. Or we are just a 20 minute drive from the M6 motorway.
